Über die Tour
Bereits 1303 beschloss der Rat der Stadt Nürnberg in einem Reinheitsgebot, dass nur noch Gerstenmalz zum Bierbrauen verwendet werden dürfe. Diese Verordnung markiert den Beginn der uns bekannten Nürnberger Biergeschichte. Mit vielen Höhen und Tiefen zieht sich ab diesem Zeitpunkt das Bierbrauen durch die Stadtgeschichte. Mit Infos über die Biergeschichte beginnt der Rundgang durch die Felsenkeller unter Nürnberg. Am Ausstieg wird bei der ersten kleinen Bierprobe in der Hausbrauerei Altstadthof über Hopfen und Malz und über die traditionelle Bierherstellung berichtet. Der Rundgang endet mit Besuch des Whiskylagers und der Probierboutique; hier wird im Rahmen einer kommentierten Verkostung das Original Nürnberger Rotbier- Das Stadtbier vorgestellt.
