Sunrise from the ridge above Dhulikhel throws long shadows across terraced fields as you step from the private vehicle and begin the walk toward Namo Buddha. The path drops into a Newari village, climbs a thousand stone steps past Kavrekot’s Kali Mandir, and opens onto a ridgeline where prayer flags snap in a cool wind.
