Dewey Beach Cannabis Dispensary & Winery Shuttle — 5-Hour Private Tasting and Education Tour

On a warm afternoon at Delaware’s coastal edge, a small private shuttle eases away from Dewey Beach and heads inland on a 5‑hour loop that pairs tasting rooms with a dispensary education session. The Cannabis Dispensary & Winery Shuttle runs out of Dewey Beach, Delaware, and stitches together Salted Vines Winery, Bethany Brewing Company, boutique charcuterie stops and a regulated Delaware cannabis dispensary for groups up to 14. What makes this outing unusual is its blend of approachable education and built‑in logistics. You don’t have to navigate prescriptions, state rules or parking—your driver handles reservations, photography and door‑to‑door pickup from your hotel, VRBO or Airbnb. The shuttle experience includes bottled water, crunchy snacks and a small gift for a guest of honor; there’s a $20 cleaning fee per shuttle and customary 20% driver gratuity. Pricing for private hire is set by shuttle size. On the itinerary expect an informed, courtroom‑simple primer on cannabis in Delaware: the difference between medical and recreational programs, inhalable versus ingestible products, and strain profiles for pain relief, relaxation or sleep. The dispensary stop is structured as a Q&A with an expert staffer, and by law you can purchase products there if you qualify. Time permitting the route adds up to two local tasting spots—Salted Vines, Bethany Brewing, Salted Rim or First State Charcuterie—each chosen for short tasting flights and minimal walking. The landscape between coastal Dewey and the inland vineyards is compact but characterful: low maritime forest, kettle ponds and the gentle coastal plains that define the Delmarva Peninsula. That coastal plain sets the tone—vineyards here sit on sandy, well‑drained soils that influence flavor, while breweries capture local hops and shore‑side grains. The ride offers a quick lesson in how First State agriculture and new cannabis regulation intersect near the beaches. Practical rules are clear: participants must be 21 or older, no smoking or vaping on the shuttle, and public cannabis use and driving while impaired are illegal. The operator accommodates groups celebrating birthdays or small private gatherings and will extend time at an hourly rate if needed. For visitors who want to taste responsibly and learn, this shuttle takes the guesswork out of planning. It’s a tidy, social way to sample Delaware’s emerging cannabis scene and nearby wineries without worrying about driving, parking or how to ask the right questions. Book a private shuttle for up to 14 guests, with pickup from your lodging in Dewey Beach and surrounding towns. Age 21+ only. Note the $20 cleaning fee per shuttle and customary 20% driver gratuity; guests cover their own tastings and purchases. The operator can add extra time by the hour for parties that want an expanded winery crawl or a longer dispensary Q&A.
