About This Trip

• This 1.5-hour guided GLOW Tour will take you to one of the most haunted places in Mary Esther, Pirates Cove.

• Since the tour starts in the dark, we will turn on LED lights in your crystal-clear kayak, illuminating the water below you. We will enjoy the quiet estuary as we paddle to Pirates Cove.

• You will use your headlamps to illuminate and explore the beauty of uninhabited islands and unique landscapes.

• Once at Pirates Cove, your guide will share the rich history of the location and the legend surrounding this peaceful cove which is reported to be haunted, with the earliest reports going back hundreds of years.

• With a little luck, we could experience the ghostly apparitions of the Spanish Princess on the “Lady’s Walk” or encounter a drifting 1700s Spanish boat with “headless oarsman.”

• We can't guarantee that you will experience a haunting or see the ghostly legend, but do know you will enjoy the beauty of the Santa Rosa sound during this glowing experience!

• Our tours are given in our amazing clear kayaks! We only bring a maximum group of 10 people out on the water at a time, so be ready for an awesome personalized experience with our top-notch guides.

• The tour caters to all skill levels, beginner through advanced.

• All kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers.) For odd-numbered parties, we will accommodate a single kayaker.

• Guests must arrive 15 minutes before departure time to check in and participate in a mandatory kayak and boating safety lesson!

• Due to Pirates Cove's darkness and ghost stories, please use discretion on children's ages when booking the tour.

• Safety is our priority. Each guest will be required to wear life jackets. We will provide a headlamp for additional safety.

Important Information

• Reservations are required for all Tours
• Alcohol is not permitted.
• Smoking and vaping are *not permitted.
• The minimum age to participate is 5 years.

PLEASE NOTE - EACH CHILD 5-17 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

Weight Limit

• The weight limit is 425 pounds per boat and no more than 250 pounds per seat. Each of our kayaks are doubles (tandem).
