About This Adventure

##Duration 4 hours

##About These trips are all about fun and getting a taste of what the Gulf has to offer. We offer morning and afternoon departures.

Each trip can be spent bottom fishing, trolling or enjoying a little of each. Captain Stan always works with the customers to develop a plan for the day based on their wishes, his recommendations and the length of the trip. These are private charters and on most trips we can carry up to 6 passengers.

##Captain Stan

  • Lifetime experience of fishing the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Licensed Destin Charter boat captain since 1990.
  • Marine Biology degree from the University of South Alabama.

##Our boat The Daybreak is Federally permitted and has a vessel fishing license that covers any passenger aboard.

The Daybreak was built by renowned Destin boat builders G&S Yachts to charter fish in our local waters, and it does that extremely well. The boat is 40′ long, 17′ wide and powered by two Cummins diesel engines.

It’s a no-nonsense fishing machine that has been meticulously maintained and recently upgraded with new electronics and tackle.

What makes the Daybreak unique is the catamaran style hull. This twin hull design allows the boat to be quick and responsive. It also makes for an incredibly stable fishing platform with less side to side motion than most v-hull vessels. The full cabin is air-conditioned, has plenty of seating, several bunks and a walk-in bathroom.

##What's included We provide anything that you will need to fish like license, tackle, etc….

##What to bring You should bring an adequate amount of snacks and drinks for the trip. Sunscreen is also a good idea. You are welcome to bring a small cooler aboard for your drinks or food. We can also ice these items down for you in one of the boats coolers.

##FAQs What kind of fishing will we be doing? Bottom fishing, Trolling or Sight fishing depending upon your request.

Can I keep my fish? Absolutely! The mate will clean your fish once we return to the dock. There is also a restaurant on the marina property that can cook your catch.

How much should I tip the mate? It is customary to tip the mate around 15% of the trip price if you feel like you receive great service. He will help out with any problems throughout the trip, work to make sure that everyone has a great time and clean your fish.
