Purple Points Tour Company operates guided small-group tours in and around Rocky Mountain National Park. The company specializes in sunrise and sunset wildlife-viewing trips, Bear Lake corridor hikes, and scenic drives that highlight the park's alpine vistas and historic routes.
Guides are local naturalists and interpreters who provide expert insight into elk behavior, birdlife, geology, and park history. Tours include a dedicated focus on peak seasonal events, such as the elk rut at dawn and dusk, and the most photogenic vantage points along Sprague Lake and Bear Lake.
Guests can expect comfortable transportation, knowledgeable commentary, complimentary refreshments, and carefully planned itineraries that balance short hikes with scenic overlooks. One option is a focused 4-hour experience that features Old Fall River Road and access to the park's highest-elevation visitor center. Another highlights the Bear Lake Corridor with gentle hikes, sunset viewpoints, and wildlife observation.
Purple Points Tour Company emphasizes safety, low-impact travel, and respect for park regulations. The operator limits group size to preserve the visitor experience and maximize sightings, and scouts routes for wildlife activity before each departure. Booking information, departure locations, and seasonal schedules are provided clearly at reservation so guests can prepare for sunrise departures or evening photography sessions.
Reservations include clear packing suggestions and weather guidance to help guests plan for seasonal conditions and safety.
By combining experienced guides, carefully curated routes, and on-tour comforts, Purple Points Tour Company positions itself as a reliable option for travelers seeking intimate, informative, and scenic Rocky Mountain National Park adventures.
