While each flight path is unique, and weather permitting, each tour will fly up to, around, and within 1/2 mile of Denali, along the famous "Wickersham Wall." It is along the north face feature where our clients often recall, "I felt like I could reach out and touch it!"

Aircraft depart from a private airstrip 10 miles south of the park entrance on Parks Highway- not Talkeetna, and not Healy. This special departure point allows for easy access to both sides of the range, as flights can meander back and forth along the spine of the range to allow better visibility.
Once we crest into the tongue of the Muldrow Glacier, we notice how the 39-mile long glacier has been surging at 4' an hour. The last this phenomenon happened was over 64 years ago.
We then traverse into the south side of the mountain towards the west where we begin to notice climber activity as we pass by the famous climbing route to the summit of Denali.
All seats are window seats in twin-engine, Piper Navajo and Chieftain aircraft that seat 6 and 8 passengers, respectively.
