What's included?
- All equipment (paddleboard, winter wetsuit and accessories) and expert tuition provided.
- Pre-SUP tea and coffee (and biscuits of course).
- Post-SUP bottle of bubbly / or other non-alcoholic beverage.
- Access to our newly renovated and private building in town, which has shower and changing rooms as well as upstairs chill out area.
Lesson layout
- First you will be welcomed at our newly refurbished private building in Portrush to enjoy a pre-SUP tea and coffee (with biscuits of course) before using our private changing rooms to get changed into your warm winter wetsuits.
- You will then take a short walk along Portrush's stunning promenade to West Strand where you'll meet your team of experienced SUP instructors waiting with your boards. Your coaches will begin the lesson with a brief safety talk followed by a fun warmup and SUP tuition. The instructors will then carry on the lesson into the water where you folks will enjoy a relaxing paddle on West Strand's beautiful coastline. You can tour hidden coastal caves, paddle around Portrush's harbour or explore West Strand's famous blackrocks. More times than none you'll even paddle past some seals, porpoises and other friendly wildlife.
- After you've had SUPer time, you can walk back to our building where you will use our private shower and changing rooms to freshen up. Finally, you can sit down in our upstairs chill out zone and enjoy a glass of bubbly or beer to discuss who had the worst wipeout.
