Step aboard the F/V American Classic for reliable, friendly deep sea fishing trips out of Lynn, Massachusetts. Whether you’re chasing cod or winter species, Walsh’s offers a hands-on Atlantic adventure for anglers of all levels.
Lynn, Massachusetts, perched along the rugged North Shore, is a gateway to some of New England’s richest fishing grounds. Walsh’s Deep Sea Fishing operates from this historic seaside town, running trips aboard the F/V American Classic that draw both seasoned anglers and first-timers into the Atlantic’s offshore bounty. Known for its dependable service and local expertise, Walsh’s offers an authentic deep sea experience unmatched in the Lynn area, a true standout for anyone chasing cod, haddock, pollock, and other prized species in Massachusetts waters.
The American Classic is a substantial vessel equipped with upstairs seating and tables, providing comfort during long-day excursions that run from early morning until evening. The crew, led by Captain Jim and his team, brings decades of hands-on knowledge, tailoring each trip to maximize fishing success while keeping things approachable and friendly. Passengers appreciate their attentiveness—whether it’s handling gear, managing the cooler, or providing food like hot dogs and hamburgers served onboard. The boat’s robust design handles choppy Atlantic conditions well, but passengers are advised to bring motion sickness remedies, especially during rough seas in off-peak months.
Walsh’s Deep Sea Fishing stands out for its winter charters, keeping anglers on the water year-round despite the region’s challenging conditions. These trips demand stamina and preparation as they often extend upwards of 12 hours, but the payoff is the chance to hook species that thrive in colder months. The Lynn location’s proximity to Boston makes this charter an accessible adventure, saving travelers from longer drives to traditional hubs like Gloucester or Portsmouth.
This operation is more than a fishing trip—it’s a chance to engage with Massachusetts’s working waterfront culture, experience the raw energy of the Atlantic, and test your skills against some of the region’s most sought-after sport fish. With a welcoming crew, solid boat, and prime location, Walsh’s Deep Sea Fishing crafts a genuine New England maritime experience for all who come aboard.
