Deep Sea Fishing Charters with F/V Nor'easter in Kennebunk

Located on Maine’s rocky southern coast, Kennebunk is a gateway to some of the Northeast’s richest offshore fishing grounds. The F/V Nor'easter offers private deep sea charters that promise an immersive 8-hour journey about 20 miles offshore, where the Gulf of Maine’s deep waters teem with ground fish like cod, haddock, and pollock. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill fishing trip—it’s a full-day escape for groups up to 24 aboard a USCG-licensed vessel, combining the thrill of jigging with the ease of a fully supported experience.

From the moment the Nor’easter pulls away from the dock, salt spray and ocean horizon set the scene. The crew provides all rods, reels, and gear needed, so there’s no hassle packing or prepping. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or a company group, the private charter model means the vessel is yours alone—maximize your time, share stories, and reel in some substantial catches together. Bring your own food and beverages onboard, enjoy the onboard restroom facilities, and relax knowing the captain and experienced mate have the ocean and safety dialed in.

What sets this charter apart is the combination of Maine’s dramatic coastal environment with accessible, expert-led offshore fishing. Around 20 miles out, you’ll encounter cold Atlantic waters nourishing an abundance of ground fish, thriving along the underwater ledges and rocky bottoms unique to this region. The captain’s local knowledge ensures you fish where the bites are strongest, making this a proven destination for anglers of all experience levels.

The Nor’easter’s private charters provide a seamless blend of adventure and comfort, presenting a fishing experience anchored deeply in the rugged New England maritime tradition. Whether you’re aiming for a day of active jigging or a laid-back ocean outing, this is a standout option in the Kennebunk outdoor scene—a trip to anticipate and remember.
