Operating out of St Thomas’s lively harbor area, Captain Alvin and his son AJ lead fishing trips that go beyond the standard catch-and-release fare, targeting species that shape the underwater ecosystem of these waters.
The Virgin Islands region presents a dynamic fishing landscape defined by coral reefs, wrecks, and deep drop-offs. Capt. Alvin’s extensive knowledge of local seasonal fish patterns and underwater structures guarantees fast action right out of the gate. From the moment lines hit the water, guests frequently hook into species like mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, cherry grouper, and the adrenaline-pumping tarpon—each offering a unique challenge and reward.
