Our single day packraft rental packages are an amazing way to explore the greater Rocky Mountain National Park area. From front-country lakes to remote alpine lakes, there are hundreds of lakes waiting to be explored.

We do not require a rental deposit, but we do require a credit card on file for every rental. If you’re unable to use a credit card to purchase the rentals, we’ll be unable to issue the rental equipment. Our equipment must be returned in the same condition it was rented and will be pressure tested and inspected after every rental. You are liable for any damage and for payment of the full retail value of any damages or stolen equipment; this will be immediately charged to the credit card on file.

You must wear a life vest at all times while operating our equipment. You must not be under the influence while operating our equipment. You must be able to swim.
You will need to purchase an entrance pass and have a timed entry reservation to enter Rocky Mountain National Park from May through October.
You may need both an entrance pass and a timed entry reservation, dependent on your desired destination.
All of our single packrafts are rated for individuals that weigh 250lbs or less. If you exceed this limitation, we are unable to rent the equipment for your use. You must rent our tandem packrafts. If you exceed the weight limit, please let us know and we would be happy to rent our tandem packraft to you for the single packraft price.
All of our tandem packrafts are rated for a combined max weight of 750lbs and 1,000lbs. If the combined weight is more than these limits, we are unable to rent the equipment for your use. Please contact us to discuss rental options.
Our rental equipment is NOT PERMITTED on Bear Lake, Mary’s Lake, Cub Lake, in areas with closures, on rivers, and in areas that we self-impose restrictions for sensitive species and vegetation. Please ask us about your desired destination.
To prevent the spread of invasive species and wildlife diseases, your packraft day rental equipment is restricted to ONE LAKE per day. To visit more than one lake in a day, you will need to rent more than one packraft, one for each lake.
Pets are NOT PERMITTED on our packrafts at any time. No jumping in our packrafts. No dragging packrafts across the ground while portaging.
Rental equipment must be picked up a half hour prior to your reservation for a safety briefing, review of gear and equipment demonstration (i.e. 8am rental has a 7:30am pickup time). If you are renting for use at Lily Lake, you can plan on meeting to pick up the gear only 10 minutes prior to your reservation (i.e. 8am rental has a 7:50am pickup time). Rental equipment must be returned at the end of your rental period and no later than 10:00pm. Upon request, we may approve custom times or evening before pick-up times for specific trips and alpine starts.
For Lily Lake rentals, we will meet you at the Lily Lake Trailhead to provide a safety briefing. For all other lakes, we will meet you at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center parking lot. Please call upon arrival.
Depending on your rental season, both alpine lakes and front-country lakes may have freezing temperatures. To stay safe and prevent emergency situations such as hypothermia, please wear appropriate clothing at all times while on the water. We'd be happy to discuss how to best prepare for your desired destination.
At equipment pickup, we will provide our requirements for how to responsibly enter and exit your desired destination so that shoreline vegetation remains pristine.
You are required to follow our guidelines on how to properly inflate and deflate our packrafts. This includes using proper tempering techniques both when entering and when exiting lakes. This will help prevent any accidental damage from too much pressure. Remember, you are liable for all damage.
Late fees are applied at $40 Per Hour Per Package.
You are responsible for the cost of all damage to rental equipment up to complete replacement costs and loss of revenue during replacement period. Upon return, we will evaluate the condition of the equipment for any damages, including inflating the packraft and ensuring it has no loss of pressure. This may take 24-48 hours.
If rental equipment is returned with sand, mud, debris or excessive dirt, we will charge a cleaning fee of $25 or more, dependent on cleaning needs. Please rinse and carefully wipe down equipment prior to return.
There are no refunds for any reason. All rentals are final. Please check the weather, have NPS/USFS/Other timed entry reservations, understand restrictions and be certain about your rental needs before purchase. There are no exceptions.
All rental equipment must be rented by a person 18 years of age or older. You must be ten years of age or older to use our equipment independently. Children ten years of age or younger may use tandem packrafts with an adult that is 18 years of age or older. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Mountain weather can change quickly, so always check forecasts and prepare accordingly before your trip.
Bring only necessary items in waterproof bags to ensure your gear stays dry while paddling.
