Family Fun at Berning Acres Farm in East Dubuque, IL

Hosted by the Berning Family. Inspired by our Cows, Beers and Cheese Curds. This newest addition opens up the opportunity for ALL AGES to get the VIP farm experience.

You can expect something like this:

-We will begin in the Shop with beverages & cheese curds while we give you some farm history & background.

-Then, we'll head out and about to tour the farm and interact with the animals. So many new opportunities or experiences to be had — milk a cow, give a calf her bottle, help with farm chores or get cuddly with one of our farm friends (goat, sheep, pig, pony or, maybe a duck). Lots of opportunities for photo ops along the way, and playtime with the goats and other animals if you'd like!

-Finally, we’ll wrap it up back in the shop if you choose, sampling a variety of locally-sourced cheeses curds. Oh, and for this event, ICE CREAM too! Choose to enjoy some good conversation & curds in the shop or maybe a little more playtime with the animals. The Berning kids will be happy to lead your little ones back to Little Kingdom for some more interactions with our farm friends. Or, maybe they want to saddle up on Gunner for a PONY RIDE!! (Gunner handles up to 100 lb.)

A very family-friendly event to kick-off your weekend or night; drinks, apps, plus, farm animals equals a recipe for a good weekend ahead!

*Each paid admission includes your interactive tour with your personal farmer and opportunities to milk a cow, and feed a calf her bottle. 

Complimentary cheese curds & beverages will be offered, such as chocolate milk, cold beer (probably Spotted Cow, because duh!), bottled water and soda.   Of course, ice cream is a must, we give to all our guests!
