You step off the ship and into humid air that smells faintly of sea and forest. A short, air-conditioned transfer from Amber Cove winds toward the foothills; guides hand out iced towels and a safety briefing, and then the climb begins. A 40–70 minute uphill hike through thick green growth delivers you to a river that has carved a stairway of pools and canyon drops — the place where everything changes from walking to moving with the water.

Yes — basic swimming ability and comfort in moving water are required. Life jackets are provided but you will be in water and may need to swim short distances.
This tour is designed for cruise passengers and departs within walking distance of Amber Cove; you must provide ship and reboarding times and the operator aims to return you at least one hour before departure.
Minimum age is 8 (8–17 must be accompanied by an adult); weight limit is 275 lbs. Certain sections and jumps may have additional restrictions.
