You step off the shuttle and the forest breathes around you: warm, humid air threaded with the sound of water already racing over rock. A narrow trail slopes toward a series of cascades — seven distinct drops that invite climbing, sliding and plunging into green-blue pools below. Guides fit helmets and life jackets, outline the route, and the group moves like a single organism through riffles, ledges and shallow cliff faces.

Moderately fit — should be comfortable with short scrambles, stair-like climbs and swimming in natural pools
The excursion lasts about three hours and includes guided access to the seven waterfalls, helmets, life jackets, bottled water and round-trip transport from Amber Cove and Taino Bay cruise ports.
Participants should be comfortable in moving water; life jackets are provided but the tour requires basic swimming ability — check with the operator about age limits and child suitability.
Not every drop is safe to jump from; guides assess depth and conditions and will designate safe jump points — follow their instructions at all times.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant travelers, people with serious spinal or heart conditions, or anyone unable to manage moderate physical exertion and scrambling.
Local Taino presence predates colonial settlement; the river and surrounding lands have long been a natural resource and gathering place for nearby communities.
Follow Leave No Trace practices: avoid sunscreen and oils before entering pools, pack out trash, and respect guide instructions to minimize erosion and disturbance.
