Adventure Tips

Check Tides Before You Paddle

Tide levels can influence water conditions, so planning your trip around high or low tide helps ensure easier paddling and better wildlife viewing.

Wear Sunscreen and a Hat

Even on cloudy days, UV exposure on open water can be significant. Protect your skin with sunscreen and wear a hat to stay comfortable.

Bring Water and Snacks

Staying hydrated and energized is important during your kayak outing, especially if you plan to paddle for several hours.

Secure Your Belongings

Use a dry bag or waterproof container to protect your phone, camera, and other essentials from water splashes or accidental drops.
