About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of history at the National Railroad Museum, where self-guided tours invite you to explore fascinating exhibits and artifacts. Enjoy daily train rides from May to September, and don’t miss special events like the enchanting Festival of Trees and the festive Holidays On The Rails celebration.

About

Daily train rides May - September and weekends in October. The train does not operate from Nov. - April except for special events.

All Museum tours are self-guided. We recommend 2-3 hours to walk through the museum, but you can easily spend the whole day!

Guided tours and discounted admission rates are available for large groups through the Education Department. All arrangements for groups and guided tours must be made at least ten business days in advance. Contact us to schedule your tour!
