The first light over Sinai throws the White Canyon into hard relief — white sandstone walls leaning inward, a narrow chute that funnels wind and light the way you move. You leave Dahab in a 4×4, the road turning to washboard track as the desert opens into broad playas and scattered oases. On Day 1 a guided walk through the White Canyon reveals vertical cliffs up to 25 meters and panoramic views of the Ein Kudra oasis; later the Mushroom Rock and Salama Canyon offer more intimate rock sculpting shaped by millennia of wind.
