Simply hire a bike from us and enjoy the tranquillity and scenery as you cycle from Kilkenny City via the “Sion road” to the picturesque village of Bennettsbridge.
Whilst in Bennettsbridge its possible to visit some local Craft Producers like Moth To A Flame candle makers & Nicholas Mosse Pottery. There’s no charge to see the pottery making process and you can browse through the store. The bikes can be locked up and left at the Village Pump outside Tynans Butcher Shop and we will retrieve them. Café Upstairs. The Corner House Local Pub is your typical Irish bar in the centre of the village with a really nice lunch menu, you will be sure to receive the warmest of Irish welcomes from the locals.
Return on foot to the City along the stunningly beautiful Nore Valley Walk.
Allow 45 – 50min to cycle to Bennettsbridge and if you opt to take the walking option – 2hrs 10 mins for the return journey along the River Walk.
The Bike ‘n’ Hike option will be operating 7 days a week this year.
