About

  • The Riverside Light Bike Tour is a very easy tour: it does not have any climb, we will ride always flat

Detailed Description & Itinerary

  • The tour starts in the historical area of Belém, where we will explore some of its fine monuments and all the secrets about our Discoveries' period.
  • Afterward, you can let yourself be embraced by the unique light of Lisbon which is reflected in the water of the Tagus. It is a truly relaxing ride, as we cycle along the river until the Downtown area of Lisbon.
  • Upon arriving in Downtown, we will stop in the oldest café in town, where you will taste one of the most delicious Portuguese pastries: a Pastel de Nata. Here is also an opportunity to have a drink or use the restroom.
  • Then we will proceed to explore the Downtown of Lisbon, always avoiding those 7 hills. Here, you will taste another surprise Portuguese delicacy!
  • Our guide will stop at the interesting and meaningful points in town and tell you about what’s around, the city's history and culture, ins, outs and surroundings. This tour lasts about 3 hours and strechtes for about 10 kms. This means a slow pace: a pace with enough time to enjoy the panoramic views and city highlights.
  • The tour finishes in Lisbon Downtown, by the river, close to the metro station. Your guide will give you suggestions on how to return to your lodging or, better yet, some nice places around to have delicious food. After the tour, you will have a great overview of Lisbon and can go explore its warmth and secrets!
