Saturday Morning:##

It’s all about becoming a more dynamic rider. We start by dialing in the following Fundamental Skills:

-Stability and balance through proper body position & range of motion. -Smooth flowy riding with proper trail braking. -Emergency stopping techniques. -Proper shifting techniques. -Cadence and vision- how to read a trail.

Using these skills we begin to develop maneuvers such as:

-A ‘peek n push’ for use with roll downs -Cornering - we end our morning session on different types of corners; applying the fundamentals we learned.

Saturday Afternoon:##

WE HIT THE TRAILS, practicing what we learned. Sessioning features on trail is essential to becoming a better rider.

We find features that will allow us to further develop our fundamental skills; rock gardens, rock rollers & steeps, technical climbs and descents, and more! We practice cornering on trail: Using the different style corners available we build on our fundamentals, learning how to flow through corners properly braking.

Sunday Morning:##

TIME TO GET OUR WHEELS OFF THE GROUND. We will focus on managing and actively responding to pressures from the terrain (compressing) as well as proper timing & coordination by going through a proper jump and drop progression including:

-Proper techniques for front, rear, level wheel lifts, and more. -Learn how to properly clear (up to) a 6-foot gap jump. -Learn how to go off (up to) a 4-foot drop. -In addition you will learn how to conquer large rock rollers, properly ride a rock garden, wheel lift over rocks/logs, ride a skinny, and more.

Sunday Afternoon:##

WE TAKE IT TO THE TRAILS!! Time to get ‘poppy and playful’.

We take our new found compression and absorbing skills to the trails; hitting ‘bump’ jumps and sessioning features like rock rollers, jumps, drops, rock gardens skinnies and more.

We finish back at the parking lot to wrap up our day and enjoy a post ride beverage with our new riding buddies.

*On trail coaching and sessioning is dependent on the trail network and features available.
