This afternoon tour is a nice blend of history and nature, including a beautiful view of the salt marshes and bird life of Cumberland Island. It offers a close up view of the National Seashore’s shoreline and wading birds, and the history surrounding Cumberland Island’s famous wild horses.
Please bring a light jacket or garment depending on the weather for your own comfort (recommended Fall through early Spring). Don’t forget to bring your camera, binoculars, sunglasses, and sunscreen! We have cold water aboard for a $1 donation. There is no fee to bring your own food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
We also welcome well-behaved leashed pets and bicycles can sometimes be accommodated upon advance request. Please allow plenty of time to find parking in historic Fernandina Beach.
