Day 1: Explore Kakadu, Arrival to Lodge and Sunset Exploration
8:00 AM Depart Darwin
10:00 AM Bird Watching Dam - Enjoy a delicious morning tea whilst we enjoy wildlife and bird watching
11:00 AM Bowali Visitors Centre - wander through the visitors information center learning about the indigenous locals
12:00 PM Enjoy a Delicious Lunch
1:30PM Cahills Crossing (Crocodile Crossing Arnhem Land) - Arrive at the famous Cahills Crossing a popular spot to see crocodiles from the picnic area in the waters below.
2:30 PM: Arrive at the Border Store and check in with your luggage for your transfer, say goodbye to your Sacred Owl Tours guide and hello to your Lodge guide.
3:00 PM: Board the transfer vehicle to the Lodge. Evening: Upon arrival at the lodge, settle into your comfortable tented cabin and get acquainted with the facilities.
Sunset Tour: Embark on a guided sunset tour of nearby rock art sites, followed by a relaxing evening by the billabong with light nibbles.
Dinner: Return to the Lodge for a delicious three-course dinner prepared by our Thai chef.
Day 2: Cultural and Heritage Exploration
7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Lodge.
4WD Day Tour: Set out on the Cultural and Heritage 4WD Tour. Explore vast floodplains, towering escarpments, and significant rock art sites. Visit the Arts Centre to see Indigenous artists at work and enjoy a scenic lunch by Billabong with your knowledgeable guide.
Evening: Return to the Lodge for another sunset tour, visiting different sites from the previous evening, and savor more nibblies by the stunning surroundings.
Dinner: Return to the Lodge for your evening meal.
Day 3: Final Explorations and Departure
7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Breakfast is served before your transfer back to the Border Store.
9:00 AM: meet your bus driver and Depart for the Crocodile Cruise. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region.
12:00 PM Enjoy a Delicious Lunch 1:30pm Aboriginal Rock Art Site Visit
2:45 PM - Yellow Water River Cruise - Award Willing Wildlife Boat Cruise
7:00 PM Arrive back to Darwin City
