Once inside, the guide will take you to discover the most important works belonging to the daily life of the family of the Grand Dukes of the Medici, starting from Cosimo I and arriving at Anna Maria Luisa, also called "the Palatine Electress" from which it derives the name of the gallery. This museum represents the main attraction of the palace and extends over 28 rooms located on the main floor of the residence. The main paintings inside date back to the 16th and 17th centuries, making it one of the most important museums in Italy and in Florence. At the end of the visit, you can also admire the works concerning the families that succeeded the Medici, from the Habsburgs Lorraine to the first King of Italy with annexed Royal Apartments.
