About

This full day tour includes in the morning a visit to some of the most famous and symbolic sights of Rome:

  • Church of San Luigi dei Francesi Pantheon, the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome
  • Piazza Navona, the most elegant of all Roman squares, with the famous Four Rivers Fountain by Bernini.
  • Piazza Colonna Trevi Fountain, the famous baroque fountain, surely one of the icons of Rome.
  • Piazza di Spagna with the magnificent and celebrated Spanish Steps and the Bernini’s fountain La Barcaccia. Then you will be transferred to the restaurant from where, after lunch, our guide will take you inside the Vatican Museums to admire one of the richest art collections in the world including the Sistine Chapel, one of the worlds most celebrated masterpieces. From the Museum you will exit directly into St. Peter’s Basilica to admire, among others, Michelangelo’s masterpiece La Pietà and the impressive Baldachin Altar by Bernini. Should St. Peter’s Basilica be closed, the tour will instead include the visit of Raphael ’s rooms. End of the tour will be in St. Peter’s Square, with the famous Bernini ’s double Colonnade.

The Museum requires that wheelchair-bound clients follow a different itinerary and are not allowed to join our regular tour. It is not permitted to enter Churches in shorts, uncovered shoulders, miniskirts. It is forbidden to bring into Museum metal objects, backpacks, umbrellas. Should St. Peter’s Basilica be closed, the tour will instead include the visit of Raphael’s rooms.
