Start your day in Pigadia and visit the ancient Agia Fotini before driving up to Menetes village. Make a stop at the church square for a scenic photo moment and explore the area around the tallest statue Karpathos has. A tiny chapel with an egg shell shaped dome is off the track but can’t be skipped as this tiny yet sacred place is also worth a visit before reaching Arkassa.
Time stood still in Arkassa where we can walk around near the mosaic floor on the historic site of Arkesia; one of the 4 ancient cities of Karpathos’ Tetrapolis. Stroll a bit through the quiet yet colourful streets of Pyles before heading towards Othos; the highest village of Karpathos. Enjoy a cozy Greek lunch at a traditional Greek tavern for great Karpathian food before we drive through Volada and Aperi and head back to bring you to your accommodation.
