Lochcarron Mill gives you the insights into the design, craftmanship and heritage of tartan weaving. No trip to the Bordres is complete without visiting Hawick, the cashmere, tweed and whisky town.
The Borders Distillery uses locally grown barley and water drawn from the River Teviot to produce Scotch whisky, vodka and gin.
The town is steeped in milling history and our tour provides the opportunity to take in Johnstons of Elgin mill and shop, Hawico shop and mill vieiwing gallery and William Lockie luxury knitwear. Also included is a visit to Lovat Mill, Scotland's premier weavers of Tweeds.
Some attractions may be seasonal. The Borders Distillery tours are not available annually from November to March.
