In the morning, our castle tour shows the guards changing with music. This big event happens only once a day, so we make sure you see it.
In the afternoon, our tour ends at Golden Lane. This is a pretty street where the famous writer, Kafka, wrote some of his stories. In winter, Golden Lane is free after 4 PM. In summer, it's free after 5 PM. After our tour, you can stay, look around, take photos, or buy souvenirs.
!!!IMPORTANT!!!
- Due to reconstruction (8.2.2025 - 1.3.2025), we won't be able to take the usual tram. It's very important to arrive at the meeting point 10 mins. before the tour starting time as we will take an alternate route.
- Due to the installation of the St. Vitus Cathedral Organ, the FREE SECTION OF ST. VITUS CATHEDRAL IS CLOSED. At this time, the duration of the closure is uncertain, but it's estimated to last at least until April 2024. Until then, visitors can only access the paid section of the St. Vitus Cathedral. WE WILL NOT ENTER THE CATHEDRAL on the Free Prague Castle Tour until the organ installation is finished.
If you wish to see the cathedral's interiors, they will be included in our 'Prague Castle Tour w/ Tickets'.
