El Olivo, es sin duda la principal seña de identidad de la provincia de Jaén. Sus paisajes, costumbres, modos de vida, la recolección, elaboración y comercialización del Aceite de Oliva forman parte de la cultura de los pueblos giennenses. La mejor forma de conocer la esencia de su Cultura desde la Antigüedad, es visitar el Museo del Olivo. Lugar emblemático ubicado en una Hacienda Histórica.

El visitante podrá ver un jardín con más de 30 variedades diferentes de olivo, el funcionamiento de los antiguos sistemas de molienda y prensado de finales del siglo XIX junto con otras herramientas y útiles del campo. Se finaliza visitando “La Catedral del Aceite”, la bodega de la almazara declarada Bien de Interés Cultural en el año 1992.
