Beerwanderers connects hikers and beer enthusiasts with guided beer-hike and brewery experiences across Bavaria. Founded to spotlight small breweries and scenic trails, Beerwanderers offers private tours that combine walking routes, traditional Bavarian food, and local beers. Tours range from short brewery walks in Bamberg to multi-day explorer trips departing from Munich, with curated itineraries that visit monastery brewhouses, bierkellers, and countryside breweries. Each experience pairs physical routes—such as the Fünf Seidla Steig®, Dragon Slayer Way, Tegernsee highline, and sections of the Pilgrim’s Way—with scheduled stops for tastings and regional meals. Several tours are led or developed in collaboration with beer expert and author Rich Carbonara, especially routes that highlight brewing history and local beer culture. Beerwanderers focuses on private, customizable itineraries for groups and individuals who prefer guided, small-group settings. The company publishes clear trip summaries, estimated durations, and route highlights so guests can choose experiences that match fitness level and interest. Safety and local knowledge are emphasized through experienced guides and selected partner breweries. Booking information, meeting points, and inclusions are provided for each tour. Beerwanderers promotes responsible enjoyment by integrating food pairings and moderate walking distances. Reviews and references from past participants are available through third-party travel platforms. With a portfolio of tours centered on Bamberg, Tegernsee, Andechs, Murnau, and the broader Bavarian brewing heartland, Beerwanderers offers a reliable option for travelers seeking authentic beer-and-hike experiences. Custom dietary requests and accessibility considerations can be accommodated on many routes when arranged in advance directly with the tour operator.
