Frequently Asked Questions

Are the seven vodkas and all the food included in the price?

Yes, absolutely everything is included so you don't have any hassle in venues dealing with payment in venues or struggling to communicate across the language barrier. You can always buy more vodka if you'd like to though!

7 vodkas sounds a little intimidating? (Or 7 vodkas doesn’t sound intimidating enough! 🤣)

Nicely tipsy is the best way to describe our tastings. The vodka samples are paced across the experience. We always want our guests to walk away with a big smile on their faces but not too wobbly on their feet.

Some people are scared of the idea of trying Polish vodka but it is incredibly special and really different to what you would have tried back home.

We always give some straight vodka samples so our guests can understand the unique quality and character involved in Polish vodka but you’ll have lots of incredible flavoured options (like salted caramel!) to choose from if you’d like something easier to drink.

There are of course plenty of stronger options available for the braver souls 😉 and you can always buy more extra shots at the end of tour.

Who is the tour suitable for?

If you love food, drink, culture and travel then this is for you!

It's perfect for anyone looking for a tipsy, tasty and fun experience. Anyone looking for a fascinating, personable and social evening, making friends with locals and people from around that world.

And of course, anyone looking for the perfect introduction to Polish vodka and Kraków’s vodka bars!

You just need to be over 18 and able to handle short and casual 5 minute walks between venues.

Is the tour suitable for solo travellers?

There couldn’t be anything better to do for a solo traveler than join us for some tasty food and vodka! We’ve designed our tastings to be as social as possible and vodka is made for sharing.

Are Stags and Hens welcome?

Yes! Stags and Hens just require a private booking and we’ll run your very own tasting separate from our standard sessions at no extra charge. Just tick the stag/hen box when booking.

What if I don’t like vodka? What if someone in my group doesn’t like vodka? I can't drink alcohol or someone in my group can't.

So many people fall in love with Polish vodka after joining our tour. Come and try it and if you don't enjoy your evening in general we'll give your money back!

If you can't drink though then no problem, we have lots of guests join us who don't drink for numerous reasons.

If someone is a non-drinker just drop us a message and we'll arrange a special offer for them.

Do you have vegetarian options?

Yep, no problem! Please just include a note in the dietary requirements section when booking.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes but unfortunately pierogi (local dumplings) are often made with eggs. We'll replace them for you with something vegan if possible or get you a bonus drink instead. Again, please make it clear in the dietary requirements section.

Allergies or other dietary requirements.

Just put a note in the dietary requirements section when booking. Please contact us first if you any allergies that could be considered severe.

Am I too old/young for this

You just need to be over the age of 18. Our groups often have people from all over the world and of all ages. Some of the funniest guests we've ever had were a group of 70 year old ladies. Young at heart is all that matters.

T&C’s

General Terms You need to be over the age of 18.

You can cancel any time up to 24h before the start of the tasting and receive a full refund. We can't refund cancellations after that point.

NOTE: It's absolutely no problem to have a beer or two before the tastings but anyone arriving too drunk to serve will have to be refused service or asked to leave without refund. The same goes for anyone being disrespectful or abusive towards the guides, venue staff or especially other guests and generally ruining the experience for everyone.

Special Spirited Great Time Guarantee Terms

We can't apply the guarantee to bookings who:

  • Break the general terms above.
  • Have not booked directly with us here or via contact with us.
  • Arrive more than 20 minutes late, cancel with less than 24h notice or who don't turn up.
  • Are large group bookings (8+) which we run as separate private tastings or stags and hens. We have a different offer for these groups because we have so many huge upfront costs to private bookings (which we don’t charge any extra for!) and also because stags can be naughty ;) But we include lots of extra goodies for group bookings so don't worry!
