This tour involves a fantastic walk around the cultural and historical centre of our beloved spa town and diving into the vibrant independent food scene with some fabulous tasting. We visit some of our most loved local eateries and taste amazing food sourced locally in Yorkshire. With a knowledgeable local guide and the company of other foodies, you will not only be enjoying lunch at five places rather than just one but you will also be supporting our local independents.
Your tour guide will greet you at Starling Bar Cafe Kitchen at 47 Oxford Street in Harrogate. Please arrive at 11.15 for a prompt 11.30 start. Your guide will meet you inside on the ground floor. This is our first tasting.
Please dress for the weather – layers are best and wear suitable footwear for a gentle stroll.
We will be walking around the Montpelier Quarter of Harrogate and will end at Farrahs Olde Sweet Shoppe Parade- in Montpelier Gardens. In total we walk approximately 1.4 miles, one slight uphill section.
Get there a few minutes early to settle in and meet your guide before the tour starts.
Strolling through Harrogate’s streets requires comfortable footwear for walking and standing.
Some local eateries may accept cash only, so carry small bills for tips or extras.
