Join us for our week-long summer culinary camps. While aimed at teens, these camp sessions are designed to be challenging as we will introduce fairly advanced culinary techniques.
Our Culinary Squared camp focuses on the essentials a student would learn in their foundation year of Culinary School, within the context of the four daily square meals (you can't forget dessert!). The session kicks off with a full day of hands-on knife skills training and then moves into a wide range of techniques required to pull off a tasty menu.
Due to the very limited number of spots in each camp sessions, cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the start of your camp in order to receive a refund. Within 30 days of your camp, a strict no-refunds policy applies. This includes cancellations due to any illness (including COVID related illnesses), injury, or emergency.
If you need to reschedule to another date, please notify us either by phone at (443) 869-5121 or by email at kitchen@baltimorechefshop.com. We require at minimum of 7 days’ notice in order to be able to apply your credit to another camp session.
Rescheduling for any reason with less than 7 days’ notice results in a forfeiture of credit.
Partial credits for the week can not be provided for any missed days of a session. Attending one or two days of the camp requires that you purchase that spot in the camp for the entire week.
Having your own apron and a basic chef's knife can enhance your learning experience and comfort.
Long cooking sessions can be intense, so keep a water bottle nearby to stay refreshed.
For safety in the kitchen, always wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes to protect your feet.
Teamwork challenges help build communication skills and make the camp more fun and memorable.
