If you are spending your holiday in Venice or another city of art in the Veneto region, the best option is to choose a one-day cooking class, which always includes a meal with wine after the lesson.
You can discover step-by-step how to make a satisfying, typical Italian meal, including the art of making pasta fresca. You'll learn to create pasta such as ravioli, tagliatelle, and gnocchi in this fun, hands-on adventure.
Recipes vary according to the season, utilizing only the freshest ingredients available and providing a profoundly individual Italian experience. The best part is the conclusion: indulging in the success of your creations.
10.00 am: Arrival at Villa Castel Venezze from Venice Piazzale Roma or by Train
10.30 am: Hands-on Cooking Lesson
Our kitchen staff will share their techniques and traditional recipes, passed down through generations, encompassing a variety of dishes, including typical appetizers, pasta, tagliatelle, tortellini, meat courses, side dishes, vegetables, and cakes.
12.00 pm: Aperitivo in the kitchen
At about noon, we have an "aperitivo" together, with the appetizers we have cooked together and a glass of good "Prosecco DOCG".
01.15 pm: Tutti a tavola
At the end of the lesson, we enjoy together our creation "a tavola", tasting some other noble wines from Veneto.
Free time in the afternoon to enjoy the park and the villa's swimming pool before returning to Venice.

Our Tenuta is located in the Venetian countryside. If you don't have a vehicle, we can arrange a taxi for you to pick you up from Piazzale Roma in Venice. The cost of this service is approximately €90 one way.
Alternatively, you may get a train from Venice Santa Lucia’s train station to Rovigo (the nearest city to us). The price of a single ticket is €7.80 per person, and there is a train every hour.

Our staff can arrange your pick-up at the nearby train station in Rovigo; the taxi ride costs €30.
