About This Adventure

Join an intimate cooking class where you'll prepare an authentic New Orleans meal alongside expert chefs. With a maximum of 10 participants, you'll cut, season, and create dishes like Shrimp and Tasso Maque Choux and Duck and Andouille Gumbo, before savoring the delicious meal you crafted.

Prepare an authentic New Orleans meal

  • In this highly interactive class, our guests actually cut, season and prepare a complete dinner with one of our expert chefs, and afterwards they are able to sit down and enjoy the meal they have just created.
  • These small intimate classes have a maximum of 10 people utilizing 5 cooktops. Singles may be paired with another individual.

About

  • Shrimp and Tasso Maque Choux - Corn, Onions, Celery, Bell Peppers, Garlic, Tomatoes, Stewed with Shrimp and Tasso (Seasoned Cajun Ham)
  • Duck and Andouille Gumbo - Traditional Cajun soup made with Duck, Andouille Sausage, Onions, Celery, Bell Pepper, Garlic, and thickened with a dark, dark roux.
  • Bread Pudding - Classic New Orleans dessert made from French Bread, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, thickened with custard. Topped with Praline Sauce.
