Highlights

Our Indian Cookery courses are some of the most popular. We will teach you how to work with fresh ingredients, herbs and spices to create Indian starters, curries, main dishes and accompaniments.

At the end of the course you will be able to confidently replicate the dishes and techniques you have learned at home, giving you a foundation of core Indian cookery skills from which you can build a range of further dishes. Typical dishes that will be covered (subject to dietary requirements); Mango Chutney Poppadoms & Chutneys Butter chicken Aromatic Basmati Rice Onion Bhajis Potato and Pea Samosa. During your day we will cover: Knife handling skills and chopping techniques Food preparation techniques using freshly prepared ingredients The creation of a variety of different dishes throughout the day Food seasoning with natural flavours and ingredients Dish presentation techniques.

What to bring?

  • If you wish to take home any of your culinary creations, please bring some Tupperware, tin foil makes a good back-up.
  • If you would like to make notes, please bring a pen and paper, recipes will be emailed to you after your course.

Important to Know

  • Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of the course. All our events start with a short health and safety briefing during which time you will meet your Instructor and Course Host.
  • Refreshments will be available throughout your time with us.
  • Masks are not compulsory, however if you feel more comfortably then please do.
  • If one of the participants is below 15yrs old, please give us a call and we can try to accommodate you. You will be required to work in pairs.
