Dive into the art of Japanese Ramen in this hands-on class, where you'll explore the distinct styles of Shio, Miso, Shoyu, and Tonkotsu. Enjoy a delicious Shoyu taster before mastering the creation of the perfect Shio Ramen, complete with rich flavors and textures. A memorable culinary experience awaits!

This Hands-on Class discusses the main styles of Japanese Ramen soup and their differences: Shio, Miso, Shoyu and Tonkotsu, with a focus on Shio.

About

Class attendees will be treated to the Chef's delicious taster of Shoyu (pork bone and soy sauce based) Ramen before engaging in a workshop focused completely on creating the perfect bowl of Shio Ramen. From elements such as Pork Belly Chashu to the creation of clear pork fat and Menma, every element of the perfect bowl of Shio Ramen will be explained and tasted before everyone creates the ultimate bowl of Shio Ramen complete with noodles and soft boiled egg.
