You arrive at the rim of a limestone cliff and the cave opens like a carved porch over a green valley; sunlight pours through the cavern’s aperture and frames the Caribbean beyond. The path up is humid and shaded, the air carrying the low squeaks of bats and the distant wash of the valley river daring you to look closer.
