Over four days this itinerary threads the Rif and Atlas ranges, drops you into cedar forests and ancient kasbahs, and leaves you under a desert sky where stars feel close enough to touch.

The tour includes three nights’ accommodation (riads, hotel, and a desert camp), three breakfasts and two dinners; specific nights are in Fez, a desert camp near Merzouga, and the Dades Valley.
The trip is moderate: long vehicle transfers, short dune walks, and two camel rides; no technical skills are required but basic mobility is needed.
Infants may be accommodated with special seats but the tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with serious back/heart conditions.
Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures; summer can be very hot in the dunes and winter may be cold on mountain passes.
