Young children should be comfortable walking short distances, riding simple bike loops, and playing outdoors for several hours with breaks.
Camp is not typically canceled for inclement weather; activities may shift to shelters or indoor games. Staff monitor conditions and seek shelter when necessary.
Campers must keep phones and devices in their backpacks. Continued use after a warning will result in staff holding the device until pick-up.
Parents complete a Camper Wellbeing packet after registration; staff will try to accommodate needs if they do not change the nature of activities and with two weeks' notice for planning.
There is no aftercare this year; pick-up is expected by 4:00pm and late fees apply after 4:01pm.
Early pickup may be possible depending on the day's activities; contact staff in advance to confirm and coordinate timing.
Camperships may be available; families should complete the application on the Venture Outdoors website. An application does not guarantee a campership.
