In this fun beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create a unique clay planter for your houseplants using slab and coil building techniques. Building this way will allow you to create interesting, funky shapes that are one of a kind! Once you’re finished, you will select your glaze and your pieces will be glazed and fired by the studio and available for pick up in 3-4 weeks.
Our workshops are a great activity for friends, partners and families! Workshops are suitable for kids 10 and over with an accompanying adult.
We wanted to make clay experiences accessible to as wide an audience as possible, so our workshops are priced in 3 tiers. If you are unfamiliar with how sliding scale fees work, we ask that you take a look at this graphic before you register to get a sense of where you fall on the scale.
If you request a cancellation via email at least 48 hours before the time of your workshop, we'll issue you a refund or rebook you for another date. Refunds or rebookings are not available less than 48 hours before the workshop takes place. Please email South@blackhoundclay.com with any workshop related questions.
