Glass Powder and Stencils Class
Discover the artistic potential of glass powder in this intermediate workshop! Learn to transform delicate powder into stunning precision designs using stencil techniques that will elevate your fused glass creations. You'll master how to evaluate stencils for best to work with, apply powder with control, and build patterns through strategic layering of colors and designs. This hands-on class reveals techniques to achieve detailed imagery and subtle color gradients impossible with sheet glass alone.
A properly fitted mask is required when working with glass powder (bring your own or use one provided by the studio).
Prerequisite: Intro to Fused Glass or equivalent experience.
Note: Artwork will be fired in a kiln and may take 3-7 days. Shipping is available for travelers at an additional cost.
