Craft a captivating 8" bowl using a mosaic technique, selecting from a vibrant palette of both transparent and opalescent colors. Imagine piecing together a jigsaw puzzle, ensuring each fragment seamlessly fits. Once your mosaic masterpiece is assembled, it will be kiln-slumped into a beautiful bowl.
Prerequisite: Intro to Fused Glass or equivalent experience.
Note: Artwork will be fired in a kiln and may take 3-7 days. Shipping is available for travelers at an additional cost.
What to bring
- Closed toed shoes are required.
- You are welcome to bring a mask, if you would feel more comfortable.
- Some people prefer to wear gloves when working with with glass. As it can make some folks less sensitive to the glass, this is optional. Find a pair that fits snugly and are rubberized to prevent the glass from slipping.
