About This Adventure

Discover St. Louis's rich history on the Trikke STL Historical Soulard & Lafayette Square Neighborhood Tour! Glide through charming streets on innovative Elekktric Trikkes, exploring iconic sites like the Anheuser Busch Brewery and the Lemp Mansion. Enjoy engaging stories and stunning architecture while experiencing the thrill of this unique ride.

Looking to experience two of St. Louis's oldest and most charming neighborhoods in a different way? Not by foot, car, bus?

Well then, we have the solution. First start with one of our Elekktric Trikkes. Next add several historical and architectural sites along with fun and interesting facts. Top it all off with a dose of intense sensations and feelings and you've got the Trikke STL Historical Soulard & Lafayette Square Neighborhood Tour! Other areas may be larger, richer, or more ornate, but none can match the appeal of Soulard & Lafayette Square Park's physical environment.

Lafayette Square is a National historic district and hosts the city's oldest park, delicious restaurants, and lovingly restored homes. Soulard is also the city's greatest lesson in historic preservation and urban redevelopment, and it's one of the top 5 most recognized neighborhoods, region-wide for sure. It's a destination spot, as well as a residential neighborhood … and we "carve" and cover it all.

We'll share information on all the ethnic groups that helped build St. Louis as one of the major cities in the United States. With just the right amount of information and help from photos of yesteryear, we'll make St. Louis's history come alive. Well-known tourist attractions like The Anheuser Busch Brewery and Soulard Farmers Market are obviously on the tour. BUT also on the tour is The Lemp Mansion and Brewery, The Old City Hospital, various Churches in the area, the very first "private residents-only street", several Victorian houses, mansions, and much more! We provide you with a listening device that allows our guides to communicate clearly with you throughout the tour.

Please note: The majority of this tour is operated on the city's sidewalks but there are portions of the tour where we will ride on the streets. In adherence to Missouri's Law regarding the age restriction to ride or operate a Trikke, all tour participants must be at least 16 years old.
