Adventure tips

Bring your certification cardOperators require a valid open-water certification and often a logbook; leave your dive gear details and certification visible at check-in.

Stay hydrated and eat lightBring water and have a light meal before boarding; dehydration increases risk of DCS and fatigue on drift dives.

Practice equalization and buoyancyCoastal currents and varied depths make early equalization and solid buoyancy control essential for comfort and safety.

Protect the reefUse reef-safe sunscreen and never touch coral—guides enforce no-contact policies to reduce damage to fragile reefs.

Recommended gear

Certification card & logbook: Required at check-in to verify certification and recent diving experience.
Mask, snorkel, fins (personal): A well-fitting mask and fins improve comfort and control during drift entries and exits.
Dive computer: Monitors depth and no-decompression limits—essential for two-tank dive planning.
Thin wetsuit (3–5mm) or rash guard: Water temperatures are warm year-round but a thin wetsuit or dermal layer adds protection and warmth between dives.
