Description: This unique and attractive Private walking tour will focus on a more unknown side of The Old Town of Copenhagen, namely the number of smaller and bigger court yards, squares, and parks around in the city. Like the main attractions tell their history of Copenhagen, so do those beautiful sites spread around the city and until 30 years ago still an important part of the city-life for local manufacturing and local markets. If you already have had one or more tours for the main attractions and want to discover spots that you not normally will discover, I recommend you chose this tour, with me as your true local and native guide.
I really looking forward to introduce those unique spots to you and give you options for shooting amazing photos, not many will have of those secrets of Copenhagen. I’ll guide you to some of the court yards and let you have the story of the life there used to be lived inside those, until less than about 30 years ago. We will also pass through several smaller and bigger squares that today mainly offering food and drink locations, but use to be local markets for everyday needs of the Copenhageners, until middle of the 1980’s. Finally, we’ll also enter some of the parks around Copenhagen and depending on time of the year, do longer or brief walks and you’ll have information of the original purposes of those parks.
During the tour we will pause at one of my personal favorite places and have a traditional Danish soft drink.
