A Half-Day Private Nature Tour for Couples
5 hours
Looking for a half-day activity for couples that gets you back to nature? This tour will take you to one of our favorite natural areas near Denver and will get you off the beaten path to experience Colorado like a local. Lose yourself in one of the front range's most beautiful sandstone landscapes - the fountain formation - and learn about the area's geology, flora, fauna, and natural history.
Along the way we'll keep an eye out for wildlife like bighorn sheep, mule deer, and elk. While enjoying a 1-4 mile hike (this distance can be customized to your liking), we'll search for birds like Golden Eagle, Bald Eagle, Northern Harrier, Prairie Falcon, Merlin, Northern Shrike, Woodhouse's Scrub Jay, Canyon Wren, Townsend's Solitaire, and Spotted Towhee.
A picnic charcuterie board is included to enhance this unique, romantic experience.* Unless arranged otherwise, alcohol is not provided, but feel free to bring your own wine or beer.
*In the winter, during inclement weather, we may need to find a place to eat indoors. In this case, feel free to purchase drinks from the establishment.
Hotel pickup is available. If this is something you want/need please mention it to your guide. Your guide will call you after your booking is made to go over details.
