Welcome to Denver’s Hottest Date, held in our spacious, climate controlled studio! In this intimate, lower capacity class, each person will create their color combination from over 40 colors and hand select a beautiful opal from our array of colors and shapes. These opals are used to represent people in our projects as they are each unique, much like a fingerprint.
You can choose from several projects such as a huge 2” combination marble, dual plant hangers, a set of shot glasses, candle holders, love birds, or many others. You are also free to select separate projects if you each would like to make something different.
Our expert teachers will be there every step of the way ensuring a fun, stress free atmosphere, as well as helping with the shaping to make sure everything comes out great! Several great restaurants are nearby to complete your evening or grab drinks after.
Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind potentially getting minor glass dust on, and bring a light jacket for cooler outdoor temperatures.
Arriving 10-15 minutes early helps you settle in and get comfortable before starting your glass art session.
Glass shaping involves heat and sharp tools, so always listen carefully to instructor guidelines for a safe experience.
Even though it’s artistic work, staying hydrated is important especially if it’s warm or sunny outside.
