Description: This amazing tour will bring you around in the harbor area of Copenhagen, where many of the amazing buildings have several hundred years of history. For more than 1000 years Copenhagen’s development was based on shipping and trading, including the presence of the Royal Danish Navy for more than 350 years.
You’ll have the story of that and the many buildings illustrating it, still around. In this part of the city center we’ll discover Amalia Castle (Royal Castle of Denmark), The Church of Marble, Nyhavn (the Colorful Houses) and several more.
You’ll also have a ride together with the locals by the Harbor Bus (not Canal Tours), that is part of the convenient and modern public transport system in Copenhagen, to connect different neighborhoods of the city. This tour will bring us along the attractive and exclusive port area to discover the big transformation from a heavy industrial area with shipyards and bigger factories 30 years ago to the modern area full of fresh air and clean water, come along and discover the everyday life of Copenhagen.
During this tour I’ll also ongoing tell you anecdotes from my whole life lived here inside wonderful Copenhagen, where I’m also born, including my personal story about the old warehouses along the wharfs. I’ll also will give you recommendations for restaurants and things to do, during your stay, including the secret ones, that only a True Local native and citizen of Copenhagen can deliver.
