A full day adventure down the River Dee near Llangollen. The exact stretch of river that we will use is dependent on the river conditions on the day and what you want out of the trip, but will always take you through stunning scenery in the Dee Valley AONB.
We will likely paddle through Llangollen town, under the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and to Ty Mawr Country Park. This is an unforgettable paddling adventure in the Dee Valley with exhilarating white water rapids.
This guided trips requires no previous whitewater experience but is a big undertaking and so needs a reasonable level of fitness and ideally some kayaking experience (at least enough to know that you like it!).
This trip will take place as a point to point downriver journey. As such, we will need to organise a 'shuttle' of vehicles between the two locations to get back to the start after the trip. As such you will need to have a car to drive to this experience.
We will set the planned starting point to be Horseshoe Falls Car Park and to finish at Ty Mawr Country Park Car Park. These are subject to change so keep an eye out for communications from us for slight changes if the water levels require.
